When and how does pistachio smile?

Edible pistachios, unlike the species used for the base, are known for smiling bony skin at puberty. Iranian Pistachio Smiling pistachios begin around mid-August, at least one month before fruit ripening, and continue until late September. As brain growth increases, the final maturity of the brain is marked by the separation of green skin from bony skin, which is accompanied by the breakdown of chlorophyll pigments and the appearance of red pigments in green skin.

Therefore, a clear sign of smiling skin is the appearance of red on green skin. Pistachios may smile along the longitudinal axis or at the tip of the bony skin. Smiling can occur on one or both sides of the longitudinal axis of the pistachio along with or without gaps in the tip or only in the tip. Examination of the anatomy of the longitudinal cleft and the tip of the laughing area shows that these parts of the bony skin are different from other parts, and different mechanisms may be involved in the separation and smile of the bony skin in each part. Smiling bony skin is related to the growth of the brain and its development inside the bony skin.

Brain growth begins after bone skin grows to its final size. The first smile of bony skin occurs around the time when the brain is fully developed and the bony skin is full, resulting in physical strain on the brain. At this time, the bony skin is completely oily (hardened) and the cells in the larynx area die. It seems that biochemical factors different from a chemical agent are involved in controlling the mechanism of laughter and accelerating the laughter of bony skin, which must be discovered.
