Studies show that the coefficient of change in yield and price of pistachios in the country are about 23.8 percent and 113.5 percent, respectively. In many parts of the country, pistachio cultivation is the last resort for farmers. In these areas, due to the low quantity and quality of water, it is not possible to cultivate products other than pistachios. Therefore, the lack of crop diversity has made it difficult for farmers to reduce production fluctuations and labor prices.
